Setting: Print the selection, Setting, read it carefully and make notes on the main ideas.

Antaeus:

read Antaeus. (Available in the lab only) Practice using the
active reader marks as you read the story. You may view a movie clip of the
short story.

Vocabulary: Print Antaeus Vocabulary Part 2 and complete the exercise.

Antaeus: Answer Questions #1-5 at the
end of the story. Remember to follow these guidelines for your answers:
a.
Write
your answers in complete sentences including the question in the answer.
b. Provide support for your answers
from the story. Put the page number of the story where
you found the support. You can quote from the story or explain in your own
words. If you use a quotation from the story, use only the part that supports
your answer. Do not use a long quotation.
c.
You
will be marked for content and grammar.
d.
Hand
in these questions to a teacher.
